The Oregon department of fish and wildlife is offering Oregon anglers free fishing and crabbing days to fire up the new year. Starting on Saturday the 31st and Sunday January 1st anglers are allowed to go fishing, crabbing and clamming without a license.
All those wishing to take part in the fun must follow Oregon sport fishing regulations, but get to do it for free.
It should be worth while to take part in the fun. Winter steelhead fishing is getting hot and crabbing and shellfish are open in several areas.
Take advantage of this opportunity and get out and go fishing. Not often does the state give away free fishing days.
